A Simple Thai Bath and Body Routine: Cleanse, Exfoliate and Moisturize
A body-care routine does not need many products. Three clearly defined steps—cleansing, occasional exfoliation and moisturizing—can organize most everyday bath products. Choose compatible textures, follow label directions and avoid assuming that more steps produce better results.
Step 1: Cleanse
Begin with a soap bar, body wash or shower cream. Use the amount recommended on the label and rinse thoroughly. A bar offers a compact format, a pump bottle is convenient for daily use, and a refill works when a suitable container is available.
Step 2: Exfoliate occasionally
Salt, sugar and cream scrubs have different textures. Exfoliation is not necessarily a daily step. Follow the individual product directions, use light pressure and do not apply a scrub to broken, irritated or freshly shaved skin.
If a cleanser already has a noticeable scrub texture, another exfoliating product in the same routine may be unnecessary.
Step 3: Moisturize
After rinsing and gently drying, apply lotion or cream as directed. Lotions usually spread quickly over larger areas, while thicker creams may feel richer. Fragrance, pump design, tube size and pack count can be as relevant as front-label ingredient highlights.
Keep face and body use separate
A body product should not automatically be used on the face. Check the intended area and avoid the eyes unless the manufacturer explicitly directs otherwise.
Introduce one product at a time
Trying several unfamiliar products together makes it difficult to identify the cause of discomfort. Start gradually and stop if irritation develops. Cosmetic products are not treatments for medical conditions.
