Dr.PONG 6H Gentle Acne Lotion is a 15 ml targeted skincare lotion for visible blemishes and excess shine. Apply a small amount only where needed as part of an evening routine. Its concentrated formula combines a salicylic acid exfoliant with oil-absorbing minerals and skin-conditioning ingredients. It is a cosmetic product; individual skin responses vary.
What's inside and what each ingredient does
- 2% salicylic acid (BHA): gently exfoliates the skin surface and helps reduce the look of congestion and rough texture around blemish-prone areas. Introduce it gradually if your skin is sensitive.
- 2.5% AC-Control Solution: the manufacturer's named cosmetic blend designed for skin that looks oily or blemish-prone. The percentage identifies this blend; it is not a claim that every component is present at 2.5%.
- 3% zinc oxide: a mineral ingredient used here to absorb surface oil and moisture, helping the spot treatment dry down with a matte look. The lotion is not an SPF sunscreen.
- Calamine: gives the formula its characteristic soft pink appearance and helps skin feel comfortable and less shiny.
- 2% niacinamide (vitamin B3): supports a balanced-looking complexion and helps soften the appearance of uneven tone after blemishes.

How it fits into a routine
Cleanse and gently dry the skin. Following the manufacturer's directions, do not shake the bottle; use a clean applicator to dab a thin layer on individual blemish-prone spots in the evening and leave it on. Avoid the eye area, lips, broken skin and broad application across the whole face. Begin slowly if you are new to 2% salicylic acid. Do not combine on the same spot with other strong exfoliating acids or retinoids if irritation develops. Use sunscreen during the day.
