ACCA by Dr.DSP Amino Acid Serum Cleanser is a 200 ml serum-textured facial cleanser for a gentle daily wash, particularly when blemish-prone skin also needs a comfortable finish.

Formula and function

  • Seventeen types of amino acids are highlighted by ACCA. This is an ingredient-type count, not 17% amino acid in the finished cleanser.
  • Ruby propolis is the red bee-derived ingredient in this reference. Niacinamide (vitamin B3) complements its oil-balance and skin-care focus.
  • The manufacturer lists the formula as free from SLS, SLES, sulfate, parabens, mineral oil, fragrance, colourant and silicone.
  • This is the rinse-off cleansing step. The serum-like texture does not make it a leave-on serum, and propolis is relevant if you avoid bee-derived ingredients.

How to use

  1. Wet face and hands. Dispense a small amount into the palm and mix with a little water.
  2. Massage over the damp face gently, avoiding the eyes and abrasive rubbing.
  3. Rinse thoroughly with clean or lukewarm water and pat dry. Follow with leave-on skincare and moisturiser.
