ACCA by Dr.DSP Sensitive Barrier Gel Cream – 10 g or 50 g

ACCA by Dr.DSP Sensitive Barrier Gel Cream is a light moisturiser that changes from an airy gel-cream into an essence-like layer on spreading. Select the 10 g or 50 g size.

Formula and function

• 5% panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) is the stated moisture-care concentration. It supports a comfortable skin feel and helps reduce moisture loss.
• 2% Tannin Complex is a blend of eight plant extracts. The published INCI names persimmon leaf, grape, safflower, coffee, knotweed, green tea, chestnut and Japanese pepper extracts.
• The five-ceramide complex contains ceramides NP, NG, AP, AS and EOP, alongside cholesterol, phytosphingosine and lipid-supporting ingredients. Five is a count of ceramide types, not a 5% dose.
• Squalane provides a light emollient component. Multiple hyaluronic-acid forms and Houttuynia/Bacillus ferment complement the hydrating, barrier-focused formula.
• The product documentation describes a formula without alcohol, fragrance, silicone or parabens. Individual skin tolerance still needs to be considered.

Choosing this reference

For skin that needs moisture but prefers a light, non-greasy feel, including an oily-looking T-zone. This blue-pack reference is different from the richer Barrier Cream.

How to use

1. After cleansing and any watery serum, apply a small amount to face and neck.
2. Smooth gently rather than rubbing repeatedly. Add a little more only to areas that feel dry.
3. Use morning and evening according to need and the pack. In the morning, apply sunscreen after moisturiser has settled.
