BE BETTER Exfoliating Gloves are orange bath gloves for gently lifting loose surface skin during body washing. They are a manual bathing accessory.

Formula and function

• Textured textile gloves provide mechanical surface exfoliation. Pressure and the number of passes determine the abrasion; there is no chemical peeling solution in the gloves.
• One pair contains two gloves. The glove shape follows body contours and gives direct fingertip control over pressure.
• Reusable for personal bathing when rinsed and dried completely after use. Exact textile fibre composition should be checked on the pouch.

Choosing this reference

For occasional body exfoliation where skin tolerates it. More pressure does not produce a better result, and exfoliation need not accompany every shower.

How to use

1. Wet both the gloves and body skin. Use with a suitable wash product if desired.
2. Move lightly over suitable body areas. Avoid repeatedly scrubbing one spot and stop before the skin feels tender.
3. Rinse skin and gloves thoroughly, then moisturise as needed. Air-dry the gloves fully in a ventilated place.

Understanding mechanical exfoliation

The textured fabric increases friction during washing, helping lift loose surface skin and leave rough-feeling body areas smoother. The effect depends on hand pressure, the number of passes and how wet the skin and gloves are. A light touch gives more control than repeated hard scrubbing. Foaming cleanser can help the gloves glide, but an additional abrasive scrub is usually unnecessary during the same session.

Choosing suitable areas and frequency

Use on healthy, intact body skin where gentle surface exfoliation is comfortable. Begin with occasional use and follow the pouch directions, adjusting to how the skin feels afterwards. Do not try to rub away scars, stretch marks or dark marks: these concerns are not simply material sitting on top of the skin. Avoid the face and delicate areas. If the skin is sore, freshly shaved, sunburnt or irritated, wait until it is comfortable before considering exfoliation.

Keeping the pair clean between uses

Rinse both gloves thoroughly so soap and loosened skin do not remain in the fabric. Squeeze out excess water and air-dry fully in a ventilated place. A closed pouch is useful for storing clean, dry gloves, rather than wet fabric. Keep the pair for personal use and replace gloves that become worn, retain an odour or are difficult to clean. Follow with a separate body moisturiser if the skin feels dry after bathing.

Care and precautions

Avoid the face, intimate areas, sunburn, active rashes, open wounds and delicate scar tissue. Do not scrub fresh stretch marks or irritated skin. Stop if soreness occurs.
