This coordinated Counterpain duo brings together the warming Original cream and the cooling Cool gel in separate 100 g tubes. The two formulas offer different application sensations and are used separately, according to the individual label.
Formula and application sensation
The manufacturer identifies methyl salicylate 10.2%, levomenthol 5.44% and eugenol 1.36% in the Original formula. These aromatic ingredients give the cream its characteristic warming and cooling sensations. The Cool gel supplied in the duo instead contains levomenthol 4%.
How to use
Read the tube and leaflet before use. Massage a small amount onto clean, dry, unbroken skin as directed on the individual pack. Wash hands after application. Use the two products separately; a duo does not mean that the formulas should be layered together.
Precautions specific to topical massage products
For external use only. Avoid eyes, mouth, mucous membranes and broken, irritated or damaged skin. Do not use with a heating pad, hot compress or tight occlusive dressing. Stop if marked irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children. Ask a pharmacist before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for a child, or if you have a relevant allergy.
The Original cream contains a salicylate. People taking warfarin or another anticoagulant, or with aspirin or salicylate sensitivity, should obtain professional advice before using it. More cream or more frequent application does not mean better results.

A retail carton and the tube or bottle shown beside it identify the same unit; they are not two separate filled products. Decorative props in supporting photographs are not included. Keep unopened spare units in their original packaging, then follow each pack's opening and storage instructions.
