L’Oréal Paris Elseve Extraordinary Oil Serum with 6 Precious Floral Oils is a compact leave-in finishing product for hair that looks dull or feels rough and prone to frizz. The 30 ml bottle brings the flower-oil theme of the Extraordinary Oil family into a smaller format that is convenient for a dressing table, travel bag or a first introduction to the range. Its purpose is softer-feeling lengths and a smoother, more luminous finish.

Formula and finish

Isododecane, caprylic/capric triglyceride and dicaprylyl ether create a light-spreading emollient base. Dimethicone and dimethiconol provide slip, while trimethylsiloxysilicate contributes a film-forming element that supports the polished feel. The official ingredient list includes coconut and sunflower oils, squalane, sea-buckthorn seed oil, and flower-derived ingredients from chamomile, lotus, linseed, gardenia and rose. This is a formulated serum, with its smooth feel coming from the entire blend rather than floral ingredients alone.

The brand presents it as non-sticky care for shine and frizz control. Applied in a small amount, it is useful for finishing lengths without saturating them. It is fragranced and contains limonene, isoeugenol, farnesol and citral. This 30 ml formula is documented separately from the All Hair Types 100 ml version.

How to use

  1. Place two to three drops into your palm, following the official Thai directions.
  2. Spread between the hands, then smooth along the hair’s lengths through to the ends.
  3. Leave in without rinsing. Start with the lower amount on finer or shorter hair and distribute evenly before adding more.

Use after your normal cleansing and conditioning routine or to polish lengths when they need it. Avoid getting product in the eyes; if contact occurs, rinse immediately with clean water.
