A 30 ml bottle of the Glycolic-Bright brightening serum, using the current 8% Melasyl™ + glycolic acid + niacinamide complex. Designed for visible dark spots and uneven-looking tone, it offers a lightweight leave-on step beneath moisturiser. The 8% figure is for the combined complex, not glycolic acid alone.

Who it is for

For a face routine where dullness, uneven tone or the appearance of residual dark marks is the main concern. The fluid formula suits people who prefer a serum layer rather than another rich cream. It can be used in both morning and evening routines.

What the formula does

Niacinamide and Melasyl™ (2-mercaptonicotinoyl glycine) support a more even-looking complexion. Glycolic acid and capryloyl salicylic acid provide surface-smoothing ingredients. Glycerin, butylene glycol and sodium hyaluronate bind water for a hydrated feel. Caprylyl methicone contributes slip and spreadability, while tocopherol and tocopheryl acetate provide vitamin E ingredients. Alcohol denat. is present high in the list and contributes to the light vehicle; fragrance and fragrance allergens are also present.

How to use

After cleansing, apply a thin layer to the face before moisturiser, morning and/or evening. Keep it away from the eyes. Use enough for an even layer rather than saturating the skin. Finish every morning routine with sunscreen of at least SPF30. Introduce gradually if you already use other exfoliating products.

Precautions

Avoid eyes and irritated skin. Rinse well if it enters the eyes, and discontinue if persistent stinging or redness develops. Consider the alcohol and fragrance content if these ingredients tend to irritate your skin.
