Precision and finish
The flexible micro-fine brush tip is designed for detailed lines, curves and the small outer flick of a wing. Start with a close, fine line for everyday definition, or gradually fill out the outer corner for a more pronounced shape. The range is presented by L’Oréal as waterproof, sweat-resistant and long-wearing. The finished result depends on how much product you apply and the shape you choose to draw.
Formula and colour
The water-based ink uses ammonium acrylates copolymer to form a coloured film. Butylene glycol and 1,2-hexanediol help keep the fluid texture workable, while the dispersing and stabilising ingredients help carry pigment through the brush. The full formula discloses a possible pigment group including iron oxides, Red 30, Black 2 and ferric ammonium ferrocyanide.
How to use
Apply after your eyeshadow, on clean, dry skin along the upper lash line. Rest your hand for control and draw a series of short strokes close to the roots, joining them into a continuous line. Keep the inner corner fine. To create a wing, mark a short upward line from the outer corner, connect it to the upper lash line and fill the small gap. Let the liner dry before blinking firmly or applying mascara. Build gradually to keep both sides balanced.
Removal and care
Remove with an eye makeup remover suitable for waterproof products. Close the pen securely after every use to help protect the brush. Keep the applicator clean, do not share it, avoid direct contact with the eyes and stop using if irritation occurs.
