A rinse-off exfoliating peel for dull-looking skin, uneven texture and the appearance of dark spots. The 25 ml formula combines a 15% complex of AHA, BHA, PHA and niacinamide. This is a timed treatment that is washed away after 15 minutes; it is not a daily leave-on serum. The 15% claim refers to the combined complex, not 15% glycolic acid.
Who it is for
For a routine that needs an occasional focused exfoliation step to make the surface look smoother and more even. It is best approached cautiously if your skin is unfamiliar with acids or already feels dry, sensitive or over-exfoliated.
What the formula does
Lactic acid and glycolic acid are the AHAs in this formula. Salicylic acid is the BHA, and gluconolactone is the PHA. Together they help lift dull surface cells. Niacinamide supports a more even-looking complexion, while glycerin and propanediol attract water. Mica and titanium dioxide contribute to the product’s appearance; they do not make this peel a sunscreen. Alcohol denat. and fragrance are present.
How to use
Shake before use. Apply an even layer to the face, keeping well clear of eyes, eyelids and lips. Leave for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water. Do not exceed the stated contact time. Follow with a plain moisturiser and use daytime sunscreen. Use as an occasional exfoliation step and allow skin to recover between applications.
Precautions
Do not use on damaged or irritated skin. Do not combine several acid or retinoid products in the same session if they cause discomfort. Remove immediately if strong burning develops. Avoid eyes and rinse with water after accidental contact.
